Tom and I {Jill} were married in 2010 with little idea of what God had planned for our lives. We knew our new life together would not be without adventure or trials, as we had already seen evidence of these things even through the months of dating and engagement. However, we could never have imagined the deep sorrow or pain, nor the extreme joy that we would encounter during our first two years of marriage. Still, in many ways, we were not surprised; for we serve a God who desires that our lives glorify Him, and thus our most earnest desire was for Him to be magnified and glorified in and through our lives. We do not count ourselves worthy of His calling, but we do pray that He can and will use us; and we have seen Him answer that prayer in the form of Noelle. When we first were told the "bad" news during our pregnancy, we never imagined that we would instead hold this miracle in our arms and watch her grow day after day. The path is not easy; but God did not promise us this, yet He does promise to never leave us or forsake us. We continue to take one day at a time, endeavoring to walk by faith as we seek to glorify God and make Him known.
